Abbott Point of Care announces the availability of a NEW aqueous-based, hematocrit-only control and calibration verification set for use with the i-STAT® System.

This product gives our customers an alternative to the current calibration verification procedure regarding HCT, provide an increased choice of vendors for hematocrit control fluids, and ease the burden of refrigerated storage.

The aqueous-based, hematocrit-only control product is manufactured by RNA Medical® and will be distributed by Abbott Point of Care for use on the i-STAT system. RNA Medical Brand Hematocrit Control is available in two configurations.
